Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care in nearly 70 countries. A private, non-profit organization, Doctors Without Borders was founded in 1971 as the first non-governmental organization to both provide emergency medical assistance and bear witness publicly to the plight of people it assists.

Gua Africa believes that giving everyone access to education will lead to an increase in individuals generating their own income and a more stable society. Our projects combine school building, scholarship programmes and teacher training all underpinned by a philosophy of peace education and a dedication to community income generation.

Gua Africa was founded in 2006 by South Sudanese former child soldier turned musician and activist Emmanuel Jal. Since then Gua Africa has grown from an informal organisation supporting a handful of young South Sudanese to the international organisation it is today.
